I believe that Knoxville, my hometown, is going to be on edge for a few weeks.

On July 27th, the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist church had a shooting while children were putting on a performance. Several were injured and two people were killed.

This morning, my friend Aaron asked me if I knew about the school shooting in Knoxville (I’ve moved to Johnson City as of yesterday). Apparently, around 8:10 this morning, two student of Central High School had a disagreement. The current text rumor is that it was a drug deal gone wrong. One of the students shot the other one and then ran. The shot student died at The University of Tennessee Medical Center later. The other student was found down the road from the school. Central, Carter, Halls, and a few other schools were put on lockdown, but not all of the school of the county.
